I think that creating the shapes and coloring them will be fairly easy but I think that creating curved points and using the brush tool will be difficult. The brush tool will be hard because its difficult to make a neat word when you are using the touchpad and even if you had a mouse it would still be hard to write neatly. Curved points would also be sort of difficult because it may be hard to get the exact angle you want. There are also a lot of steps to do a curved point which makes it even more difficult.

The Guides seem very difficult to create because you have to alter the height and width and get the exact measurements. I am not sure what I would use this for maybe to split the page into thirds or fourths for something like an infographic? I did find this very interesting because the guy did very well at explaining each step. He not only taught us how to create grids, but also guides and gutters. He also showed us that when you create a shape in-between the guides, the end of the shape will snap to the guides which is very useful.

This seems like the easiest tool so far to use. I feel as if it would be used a lot too because it can create all types of shapes and or designs. This tool could most likely be used in any type of project on adobe illustrator. The guy in the video does a very good job explaining each step and telling us the different modes such as merge and extract mode. The only difficult part in this video seems to be the cleaning up line work, this is due to the fact that you have to click on each different tiny line you want to erase from the design. Overall this seems like a pretty simple tool that I will likely utilize in my projects.
